In the comments below we ask that all truckers and swift drivers consider sharing their own stories of Corporate abuse. We will be pointing to these stories in our grassroots efforts. Thanks for participating.

Hello blogreaders, both trucker affiliated and most especially the general public, lawmakers, media and other organizations.
My name is Damian, a 15 year veteran of freight shakin driving. And let me tell you why I want drivers to tell their story in truth and full. That includes the good, the bad, and the ughly.
Especially the bad & the ughly. If you want the good, just tune into Sirius radio. They and their their corporate sponsors will tell you all about the good, with token coverage of what needs fixing.
Unless that is if, it can be blamed on the truck driver. With the implication the driver is the one who has to change, not corporations, owners, managers , or society. This idea of blaming the middleclass worker is quite common in corporate America. And since they usually see nothing serous wrong, then they have nothing to fix.
But by telling your story, you can bring the truth out. And once we can see the problem, we can begin to create solutions to these problems.
These solutions will not re- inforce aging, but be geared to solving the problem. And since I advocate cspitalism in both re- inventing unions and any problem solving, I will help with this type of problem solving.
A lot of these problems may be addressable by kegiskstion as Well. I will also help with the legislative ideas as well. It’s time drivers started creating their own futures by pkannig now for the future you want to create.
But it all starts with telling your story. The first step. That’s what I am doing in Twitter. But for everything I may seem to complain about, I will propose solutions. I do not believe that there are no profitable industry solutions to the many problems drivers face.
It is just more work finding solutions that work for everybody
Unfortunately big business corporate America has waged war on the middle class for decades now. What big business seeks to do is deceptively shift all economic risks onto someone else and make money no matter how bad there decisions are. And although drivers may recognize this as the owner- operator & truck leasing program, it has sadly become standard modus operandi for big business. Witness the recent problem in the financial markets caused by executives, but they still try to blame the middle class.
And if you think these same people are going to help you fix your problems, you are sadly mistakin. In fact executives will try to make up their losses not through innovation, but by the far eadire method of taking from the middle class worker and truck driver.
With just nafta alone I see a billions of dollars wealth transfer payments from the American middle class to the ultra wealthy and Mexico. And for what? The right to work in Mexico ?
We need solutions thatwill benefit the middle class ad well as the rich, and I will help with that by starting with our stories.
In the meantime try negotiating with your company. Chances are in large corporations no one is authorized to negotiate with you. It us impossible to get meaningful and lasting change.
And that is why I advocate a smart capitalist union for swift and all the other large carriers out there. One person can not permanently stop abuse at a large corporation. Only a large organization with a respectable set of values can provide a proper check and balance against the mistreatment of employees by management.
To lawmakers, media, drivers and the general public, that is why I am inviting drivers to tell their story to me on Twitter and this blog m. It is a new beginng to new solutions from capitalist employees, not socialist management and their media mouthpieces like Sirius Xm radio.
And if
